Finally finished watching introverted boss. After being distracted by Unnies in KBS, I finally managed to watch it.I will use my previous blogpost title to continue writing here.

Just in case, you don’t know, I will give brief recap here.

Ji Hye, Hwan Gi former secretary killed herself by jumping down from Hwan Gi office. Reason seems to be she is being hurt by Il Woo due to his indecisive actions.

He shut down himself from public and hate to go out even more. He struggled because he’s holding grudge to Il Woo but he can’t do anything. He thinks Il Woo should take the responsibility up for the incidents instead of covering up as if nothing happened. Often, he would need to choose between truth and his family (that include Il Woo). But end up, actually Ji Hye secretly fall for him instead of Il Woo. Hwan Gi feels so guilty because he could do more and pay attention to her at the night of the incident, then she will not die (I thought that too, because all she want is to explain to him that she likes him, not Il Woo. Giving such circumstance, watching his sister torture herself and got admit to hospital, he would definitely look at his family first – I would do that too). And that, stopped him from loving Ro Woon and be together with her.

I think the most pitied one. Her family torn apart because Ji Hye commit suicide, followed by her mom passed away. All of out of sudden, the one left is her dad and her. Her dad is not typically type of daughter fools appa that would keep expressing his love to his family. Instead, he asked Ro Woon to hang out there when Ji Hye unnie and her mom passed away. No comfort, no hugging, nothing. But I think her appa having problem to express himself too just like Hwan Gi. They don’t even talk in home after her Unnie and eomma passed away. So Ro Woon changed her heartbreak sadness to revenge. In family, it seems like she wasn’t her parent’s fav. In love life, her relationship with Boss stopped when they both found out, Boss is part of the main reason she die. The bricks keep going up as there are so many thing in between Ro Woon and boss.

That incident was a nightmare to him. He would do anything to cover it up. At first, I thought Hwan Gi is the only one who feel guilty about the incident, but actually Il Woo feels that too. He keep thinking about her even she passed away. I believe somehow he really fall for her. In later stage, I think the insecurity clouds his judgement. When Hwan Gi starts to open himself to others, Il Woo is getting more afraid. Afraid of what?  Afraid not being needed anymore. As mentioned in my prev post, he was trained to be Hwan Gi replacement when the situation is needed such as helping Hwan Gi appa for election, doing presentation in public, handle PR in the company etc. He selfishly asked Hwan Gi not to disclose anything about the incidents. He afraid that the whole world will abandoned him, same thing goes with Hwan Gi appa.

I keep thinking that she might killed Ji Hye like really push her from Hwan Gi office. Actually she didn’t’. All she did, is cut her arm in front of her. She thought she is definitely will be with Il Woo together forever until Ji Hye appears and catch Il Woo hearts easily. When she realized it, she starts to torture herself to get Il Woo attention back to her, like cut her arm, purposely got hit by car. Why she is doing that?  Because her super weirdo family trained her to be in such mindset. Why do I said so? Because every time something she dislike happened, she got away by hurting herself and peace restored. Her way of restoring the peace (ie getting Il Woo back) definitely shock Ji Hye. (I mean given such situation who will not.) Esp when Ji Hye not even intend to take Il Woo away from her. All these incidents linked up, she feels so pessimistic, no one there to give a wise words and so she jumped.

Ro Won seriously struggle a lot to be with Hwan Gi. I just want to say this is how introverts are. You have to be patient enough to wait. And every single time, you thought you opened the door, and there is one more behind there. Hwan Gi is the same as well. He really changed a lot ever since he met Ro Won.

For me, Ji Hye death is really an accident. Though, Il Woo, Ji Soo, Hwan Gi somehow add the spices up, Ji Hye suddenly feel depressed and hopeless cause she afraid Hwan Gi might misunderstand. She could actually opt for chatting with her younger sister? She could opt for talk to her buddy Reporter Woo and got drunk? I’m not saying we shouldn’t blame those 3. But she can choose another way to get rid of those negative thinking.

Instead talking about Yeo Woo Jin (Hwan Gi aka Boss) and Park Hye Su (Chae Ro Won). I keep thinking the chemistry between Yeo Woo Jin (Hwan Gi aka Boss) and Heo Jeong Min (Sun Bong) in drama. Although there have little screen time, their chemistry is strong in this drama. I mean the scene they two on the boat. They didn’t talk to each other much and they didn’t face each other. They both got immersed in their character inner monologue. And the result are so good. Because that’s so real life acting that we will do. Actually, they worked together before in the drama- Marriage not dating which I’m watching right now – I will start to write post about the drama (this drama will kept you thinking about the relationship)
